Cooking Sections with AKT II

Cooking Sections is a duo of spatial practitioners based in London. Since 2015, they are working on multiple iterations of the site-specific CLIMAVORE project, exploring how to eat as humans change climates. In 2016 they opened The Empire Remains Shop, a platform to critically speculate on selling the remains of Empire today. Recent exhibitions include Manifesta 12 (2018) and Offsetted at the Arthur Ross Gallery (2019). They authored the book The Empire Remains Shop (Columbia Books on Architecture and the City (2018)).

AKT II is a structural and civil engineering firm based in London, set up in 1996 by Hanif Kara, Albert Williamson-Taylor, and Robin Adams. Employing more than 250 people, it has worked with some of the world's most important architecture firms.
