Jennifer Deger is a visual anthropologist, filmmaker, and research leader at James Cook University, as well as the president of the Australian Anthropological Society. She recently completed a four-year Australian Research Council Future Fellowship titled “Mediated Relations: New Media in Arnhem Land.”

Victoria Baskin Coffey is a visual anthropologist with an enduring interest in the ways that images make the world. She is currently completing a PhD that examines the digital-visual image practices among transgender, gender nonbinary, and gender variant communities of India.

Anna Tsing is a professor of Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her books include Friction: An Ethnography of Global Connection (2005) and The Mushroom at the End of the World: On the Possibility of Life in Capitalist Ruins (2015), which has received multiple awards.

Feifei Zhou graduated in architecture from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2018, receiving the Dean’s Prize. Her research and design work focus on ecological and cultural preservation through architectural interventions.
