
Ha-Joon Chang is an economist. He teaches at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Cambridge. He has worked as a consultant for numerous international organizations, including various UN agencies, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. He has published fifteen books, including Kicking Away the Ladder (2002), winner of the 2003 Myrdal Prize and Bad Samaritans: Rich Nations, Poor Policies, and the Threat to the Developing World (2007). In 2005, Ha-Joon Chang was awarded the 2005 Leontief Prize for Advancing the Frontiers of Economic Thought.
